H.A.T: Hope Against Tyranny

I wanted a peaceful way to acknowledge that we’re living with a threat to democracy and with a growing disregard for the rule of law and the Constitution. I looked for a quiet way to share that concern with like-minded people, for something that would offer a smile and the recognition of a fellow traveler. Not every act of resistance has to be shouted from the rooftops and not every political difference has to become a battle. The H.A.T Project exists as a reminder that we’re all in this together.

p.s. I’ve been making my “Original Fat Hat “since 1979. It’s a shapeable, drapeable hat able to be worn any way your heart desires: rolled up, folded up, cuffed and pulled back. It’s available in red, black, a variety of blue or lemony green tones (depending on what blues and greens we have here at each moment).
